History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Az-Rans fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Thradal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
