Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Medrash hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Medrash began to lead the lost caravan. He struck the Butcher job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
