History: Heian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder mother left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
