History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Rolen has worked very hard to control his curse. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rolen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 53. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Zephan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: Ogthrak hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
