History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Marbas hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Halfling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
