His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Simon was born with his father's beautiful face. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: Galinndan is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
