History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to end his boredom

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Cockaby enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in a small plains village. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
