History: Direcris was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Direcris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
