History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Randal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kelter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.
