Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Junk Dealer. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Valafar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Valafar was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He takes great joy in being the best Merchant in town.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Theren was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Merchant. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
