History: Pallabar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His childhood dream was to be a Apothecary, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is content

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to raise his children well
