History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Vondal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Pirithin was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born in a small plains village. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and further expansion of business
