History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Balam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week.
