He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: This slender man stands about 6'8". He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Modean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Modean and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. His silver hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
