Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aldous speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new priest responsibilities is difficult

History: Dagger was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he desires power and/or immortality
