Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Adelard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
