He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a dagger on his belt. His blue crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Ildrex's homeland. Ildrex decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 5'3". He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears a black costume with the symbols of magic on his torso. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His crest is brass and curly. He has red eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Bidreked was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Bidreked and his spouse have recently divorced.
