Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balam does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. A true patriot, Harbek would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.
