History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Traki lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
