Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gorfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Butcher born in the past three hundred years. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thorpe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. After coming to the age of reason, Thorpe took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Description: He stands about 5'3" and tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats. His yellow fur, when down, is lengthy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a deep hatred of dire rats
