Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His dark red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He carries with him a set of pickaxes, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His blue crest is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His yellow fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Cask enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of goblins
