History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shedinn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shedinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
