History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thorin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thorin. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family.

His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Umpen liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
