History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Qualen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Qualen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he seems to be bored by most things
