Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for him, and Fargrim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.
