History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
