History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young Roland began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Barber business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and doesn't want to be a crown-heir and was forced into it by his family
