Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Quick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Motivation: To be a Junk Dealer again; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the north to a Servant, Balam learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Servant. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
