History: Born in the east to a Carter, Therai learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Roofer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Nirgel was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
