History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Chay alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Merchant. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Darrow was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Darrow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Darrow. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He got into the Navigator business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
