History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oppleby's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He takes great joy in being the best Herbalist in town.

History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bathin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
