It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's also a talented Assassin, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Flask has worked very hard to control his curse. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.
