Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. River took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his left hand. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Umpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He struck the Sailor job and began his own company from there.

Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
