Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Lone took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oskar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
