Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His beige fur is lengthy. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tabaxi in existence. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. River was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and seeks redemption

Description: An older man who wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with pastel colored cloaks and clothing, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by his family.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a black cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Shepherd again.

Description: He has a missing right arm. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
