History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Ahvain hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
