History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: He was born in the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Being a Seamstress kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
