Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears suspenders and violet workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy violet leather apron most of the time. His orange fur is heavily combed to the left. He has copper eyes and a violet hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Five was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Five decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This tall, slender man wears long strands of sapphire and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Sage. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has achieved small success as a Sage.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: An older man who wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, he is not a threatening figure. His blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears an entirely black suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His crest is black and curly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he loathes his own lifestyle
