History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Aust liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: Shamash lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and regain custody of his son

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
