History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Dain learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Tomi's homeland. Tomi decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tomi fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
