The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Justin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

After months of barely getting by, Fargrim managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
