Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck the Laborer job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Paelias wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Paelias abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second son.
