He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Peren was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion; and a rival would like him out of the picture

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a Glassblower, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Faran grew up listening to his father's many stories. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
