Upon awakening, Cagak discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Cagak fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Trail lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mason, and he later adopted a second son.
