History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kerkad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Gûnd hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
