Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Astar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tiefling unity. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Bowyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
