Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Taklinn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and wants to work out more often

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His hair is short and chestnut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Andram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Andram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Gifted from a young age, Medrash studied abroad. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chem grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He struck the Slave Trader job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: To be a Sculptor again; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is obsessed with his god.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. After a long history of fighting, Veit and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and balancing his hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult
