Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Howard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Howard took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Howard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Therai was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cagak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
