Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He takes great joy in being the best Mortician in town.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He has worked as a Bricklayer like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Reynard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has achieved small success as a Barber.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
