History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His childhood dream was to be a Mason, but he was a colossal failure. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many violet ritualistic tattoos. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. His hair is black and very short. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His fur is cut close to his head. His eyes are a pleasant yellow.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Three lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Three was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Description: He stands about 5'8" and wears tattered old clothes. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lucan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lucan grew up listening to his father's many stories. Lucan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Knight. He bought a bow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
